- The Community Network is about using new media and innovative technology to bring useful information directly to communities that need it the most. Limited access to technologies like computers and the internet can leave many living in lower-income or underserved communities out of the loop when it comes to getting important information on issues like healthcare, education and employment. Because of this gap, between the "haves" and the "have-nots," it is important to bring this information directly to these communities and to give them access to this technology and information.
