With the capacity to upload video to platforms like YouTube and the WITNESS Hub, as well as share videos on platforms like MySpace and Facebook (and more), one of the critical questions becomes -- What happens when everyone, everywhere can film and share the video with the world? The discussion at this table will focus around how the rules to protect the safety and security of the people who appear in and create human rights videos have and continue to change.

With platforms like YouTube and the WITNESS Hub as well as the capability to upload video to MySpace and Facebook and . . . one of the many critical questions to be addressed is what happens when everyone can film and upload video showing it to the world? The discussion at this table will center around how the rules that protect the safety and security of both people who appear in and make human rights videos must change.
